A former judge of Pakistan Supreme Court has made serious allegations against the country’s Prime Minister Imran Khan in a live interview that has made one of Imran’s minster angry and he has threatened the mainstream media for consequences.

In a live interview given to a national news channel the former judge of the Pakistan Supreme Court, Wajahuddin Ahmed has made some serious allegations against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Wajahuddin Ahmed, who was part of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party (PTI) till 2016 has claimed that Imran Khan’s private palatial home on a hilltop in Islamabad’s expenses was born by the party’s ex-worker.
Ahmed further said that ex-PTI member Jahangir Tareen used to pay PKR 3 million every month to run Imran Khan’s home.
A few hours after this interview was telecasted the said amount was increased to PKR 5 million per month by various news channels. Jahangir Tareen was quick to rubbish these allegations made by Justice Ahmed on social media.
But, Wajahuddin Ahmed stuck to his allegations made on Imran and added that the public image of Imran Khan being an honest guy is completely wrong.
It took a little time for this interview to get viral on various social media platforms and later the same was picked up by other media platforms in Pakistan.
Soon after that the Pakistan information minister Fawad Chaudhary came into the action and said that Justice Ahmed will face criminal defamation for his allegations.
Fawad Chaudhary also said that the TV channels that are making a campaign out of Ahmed’s allegations should stop doing that else the government will take legal action against them as they are reporting on these allegations without doing the due verifications.
In that sensational interview, Justice Wajahuddin Ahmed also claimed that Tareen paid all those expenses without making proper entries in the books and hence he has no other choice than to deny these allegations.
This is not the first time that Fawad Chaudhary has acted in such a way; he has been one of the controversial ministers of Imran Khan Government along with Shekh Rashid.
